In this paper, the effect of binding warping of spot-welded thin-walled box beams elastically at both ends on the torsional rigidity was investigated. We used the warping torsion theory of spot-welded beams that authors have already proposed. Itwas found that the ratio of St. Venant's torsional rigidity GJ{sub}T of double hat beams to the rigidity EC{sub}(BD) of ones bound the warping elastically is grown in proportion to the warping elastic binding coefficients and the rate of increase dependson the product of GJ{sub}T/EC{sub}(BD) and length of beam.
