Experimental studies for the thrust of vertical- axis wind turbines

摘要

In the present work, a series of model vertical-axis wind turbines were tested through the experiments in a wind tunnel to ascertain the thrust of the rotors. The model wind turbine tested were three drag types and two lift types. The experiment result showed the thrust characteristic of the wind turbines.
