Measurement of solar irradiation in inner Mongolia via INMARSAT satellite

Meteorological measurement system and solar photovoltaic (PV) power system were settled at Inner Mongolia in China. The data (irradiation, temperature, generated power, etc.) can be transmitted to Japan via an INMARSAT satellite. Total irradiation at Inner Mongolia in 2000 was about 1.25 times as much as that at Tottori in Japan. For the purpose of simulating the irradiation condition of Inner Mongolia in the Arid Land Dome, supplementary irradiation was estimated.
