摘要

This report deals with the estimation of wind power generation installed 2,000kW turbine across the shoreline in Japan. The wind energy resource assessment has been carried out using WAsP from 22 metrological points of Nationwide Ocean Wave information network for Ports and Harbors (NOWPHAS). It become clear that the dominative direction of the wind having high potential energy is always perpendicular to the shoreline. This suggests higher potential of offshore wind power generation in our country.
