As a second part of the feasibility study of offshore wind power generation over Ise Bay, the potential wind power production over the bay is estimated, based on the wind simulation with MM5 and power curves of three different wind turbines. The simulation of power production shows that the electric power of up to 41,850 GWh can be produced from wind turbines which are assumed to be installed at an interval of 10D×3D (D; diameter of the blade) in the whole of Ise Bay. This power production is equal to the total amount of the electric power used in 12.46 million households in a year. In other words, it corresponds to the annual power production from 7 nuclear power generators.
