High temperature sensing system: a study on high temperature laser range finder

摘要

In order to construct a laser range finder which can be operated up to 100 degrees Celsius the characteristics of a semiconductor laser diode and a position sensitive detector (PSD) ate tested from room temperature to 100 degrees Celsius. The PSD can be operated without the degradation of the accuracy by AC method Laser diodes can be operated for the short time duration at 100 degrees Celsius.
