Electromagnetic scattering by a dielectric coated sphere partially buried in a ground plane

The method of images was used to convert the problem into the scattering by two overlapping dielectric coated spheres excited by the incident field and its image. The scattering from conducting or dielectric partially buried sphere can be obtained from the scattering by dielectric coated partially buried sphere which already obtained in [1-2]. Numerical results will be presented at the symposium for the normalized bistatic cross section at an arbitrary height from the ground plane and with various dielectric constants [4].
