This presented paper is to assess performance of various adaptive beamforming schemes when used with multiple beam antenna on communication satellite. The results of theory study and computer simulation show the SMI and RLS methods cam offer the advantages of faster convergence rate and better SINR performance over the LMS method. Due to computational complexity and numerical stability in digital implementation, adaptive beamforming based the RLS algorithm becomes fairly attractive for communication satellite anti-jamming application.
