摘要

The data transmission protocols by which the satellite networks and terrestrial networks can be interconnected re discussed in this paper. According to diferent network architectures, some methods to these problems are described and the scheme of Splitting TCP connections is specifically discussed. meanwhile, the Satellite Transport Protocol(STP) that is optimized for satellite environment is introduced. A multiple-carrier TDMA satellite communication system is being developed in our Institute. So the protocol implementation scheme in this system is discussed. Take this system as an example, the data transmission procedure for interconnecting through Splitting TCP connection and using STP as the protocol in the portion of satellite environment can well be understand.
