Rain Attenuation Research for Ku/Ka Band Satellite Communication Systems

摘要

To improve the performance of high-frequency satellite communication systems, characteristics of rain attenuation are analyzed in detail based on roughly introducing propagation measurement campaign performed. By means of many graphs of field measurement data, emphasis is placed on analysis of attenuation properties such as the relation between attenuation and rain rate, obvious seasonal character, the relation between attenuation intensity and probability.
