The Development of New, General Purpose and High Efficient KL-0308 Corrosion Inhibitor for Oilfield Water Injection

There are many oil recovery blocks in Karamay Oilfield. Investigation indicated that the injection water quality of different blocks varies largely. Currently used corrosion inhibitors are not suitable for general purpose. The monomer of KL-0308 corrosion inhibitor is obtained by reaction of two materials on a certain condition. The inhibition efficiency is increased by mixing several additives. The result of laboratory testing shows that KL-0308 corrosion inhibitor is perfectly suitable to most blocks of the oilfield. The inhibition efficiency is above 85precent.
