Discrimination between strain and temperature by using holey fibers-based long-period fiber gratings with different air hole size

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple and flexible scheme for simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature based on long-period fiber gratings inscribed in versatile holey fibers with various air-hole sizes.
