REMEDIATION OF POLLUTED ENVIRONMENT AT NAVAL PORTS OF THE BALTIC SEA

Since Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were situated at the western border of the former USSR which also was part of the sea border, many of the region's best ports were turned into support points for the military navy. This concerns the coasts of Estonia and Latvia - probably thanks to the neighbourhood of the Kaliningrad (Koningsberg) military port Lithuania remained untouched.
