Fretting fatigue has been given considerable attention for its great impact on life, reliability and integrity of structural components. Experiments on the effects of contact pressure, amplitude, applied load, temperature, number of cycles and the ratios of high cycle load on fretting fatigue life and friction coefficient were carried out on PW-10 Material Text Machine. Text results showed that when applied tensile stresses are less than 250MPa, the fretting fatigue life (FFL) decreases more than that when the stresses are greater than 250MPa.
