Overview of quantum well infrared detectors

摘要

A review of infrared detectors based on interband and intersubband transitions in intrinsic and extrinsic (n- and p-type) multiple quantum wells that form the basis of modern infrared quantum detectors. The analysis of the results obtained using infrared absorption technique in both type I and Type II quantum wells will be discussed. Recent results recorded for multiple quantum well structures for multi-colors detection will be shown and discussed.
