Based on investigating many experiment data of smooth cylindrical specimens and welded specimens in the long life regime under the random loading, a new method which can be used to calculate the equivalent stress-fatigue life curves in the long life range is proposed. By the new model.the prediction fatigue lives in the long life regime for smooth cylindrical specimens and welded specimens are equal to the mean of the test data approximately and it can made Palmgren-Miner rule suit to be used in the long life regime.
