Today's network infrastructures are heterogeneous and target well-defined networks and services. This multiplicity of solutions prevents one from reusing existing functions or services that are already deployed in the network. The need for a common control network infrastructure, enabling existing functions to be reused and, by doing so, reducing the design and development time, is obvious. This paper presents PalaTINAt, a TINA-based control infrastructure expanding three major domains: public network operators, corporate private networks and residential terminals.
