A new production method of inoculatin cast iron by evaporative pattern casting process 'in-pattern inooculation'

A new process for inoculation cast iron is investigated on hte basis of the evaporative pattern casting,which has attracted the attention recently. The required quantity of a inoculant agent is embedded directly into a expanded polystyene as a evaporative pattern.A untreated melt is poured into this expanded polystrene by ordinary full mold process under a reduced pressure state.
