The PIPE CONVEYOR is still a relatively new and innovative concept for the transportation and handling of bulk materials as compared to the conventional belt conveyor that has been unchanged since its inception at the turn of the century. It offers many advantages over other material handling systems by making use of all the standard equipment developed for the conventional belt conveyor and by incorporating the additional features described herein. Now that a U.S. license has been established and a history of installation exists, the feasibility and economics of the PIPE CONVEYOR application can easily be determined.
