摘要

Heat pumping system is an old technology but a new player in the home heating market. An environmental friendly and ecological accepted new demand for electricity will be developed. The Upper Austrian Electric Power Company is playing a major role in this area since first oil shock (1972/73). A new system of collaboration has to be built up with all market partners and many results of research projects done by universities were implemented in detailled strategies. The utility is offering many consulting and financial incentives, a special tariff was also established for these systems. Since the beginning, basic arguments have changed from reduction the operating costs to improvement of energy efficiency and positive contributions to global warming challenges. New applications e. g. heat ventilation with heat recovery will fit significantly to the main target on permanent improving the energy efficiency.
