Surgical management of skin tumors

摘要

Surgical oncology in veterinary medicine has improved significantly in recent years. Surgery for neoplasia remains one of the most important methods of treatment for the cancer patient. Although surgery alone rarely affects a cure of malignant neoplasia, en bloc excision of tumors can significantly prolong the patient's life without causing untoward affects.
