PRELIMINARY STUDY OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OSTEOPOROSIS AND TRACE ELEMENTS WITH RAT MODELS

Osteoporosis(OP) is a common disease usually occuring among old people. With the astogeny of the population, it has become a main disease which menace the life of the senile people. There are many factors relating to the OP. The internal factors include the inheritance, the health condition and the functions of some organs of the human body, while the external factors include the absorption of the Ca, the nutrition condition, the diet habit, etc. Among them, the relationship between the Ca and OP was well known while the relationship between the trace elements (TE) and OP was less reported. Now increasing attention has been paid to the TE in life sciences, especially in disease study.
