Special features in proficiency tests of mechanical testing laboratories

摘要

The paper deals with the differences between ideal calibration and mechanical testing which is aimed to the conditions of the industrial use. The differences affect also the proficiency testing. The special features of proficiency tests in the field of mechanical testing are demonstrated by the test method "Charpy Impact Test" according to EN 10045. It can be concluded that the proficiency test is as an important element of the accreditation process by laboratories and accreditation bodies.
