A vibration diagnostics of turbogenerator rotor malfunctions, connected with nonstationary thermal processes

A vibration performance of turbogenerator rotor malfunctions, connected with nonstationary thermal processes and diagnostic criteria for vibration condition monitoring system are considered. The objects of investigation are large turbine generator sets for power plants. The analyzed malfunctions embrace generator rotor winding ventilation faults and rotor units brushing against unmovable parts. The temperature distribution due to these malfunctions, mechanical deflection and corresponded vibrations are regarded.
