Study on 3D Gravity Similitude Model of Steep Rock Slope

摘要

The paper suggests that the method of the larger model experiment coupled with the smaller model experiment and the equivalent replacement method are used to study the deformation and the failure mechanism of steep rock slope in order to solve the difficulties in 3D gravity similitude model experiment on steep rock slope with weak layers. The experiment results on the Lianziya Precipice of the Yangtze Three Gorges are in agreement with the field observations.
