CRYSTAL ENGINEERING OF IONIC SOLIDS

摘要

This paper considers aspects of crystal engineering which are relevant to the design of salts as functional solids, with specific reference to the design of novel non-centrosymmetric materials for second harmonic generation. In addition, some aspects of polymorphism, current practice in the field of single-crystal X-ray diffraction, inter-ring interactions, and C—H hydrogen bonding in the salts of heterocyclic cations are discussed.
