Measurement and Analysis of Flame Spectra in a Gasoline Engine

摘要

A type of optical combustion probes that have semblance of a standard pressure sensor has been developed. Using this probe and a p[recise opto-electronic system with high spectrum-reoslution and sensible responsibility, we have measured flame spectra in a gasoline engine. Spectra in different phases of combustion process, including various characteristic spectra of intermediate combustion products and consists of monochromator, multiplier phototube, and BOXCAR signal procesor has been employed to measure varioations of characteristic spectra. Ignition delay, excess air ratio and other information of combustion process have been obtained by analyzing of experimental results.
