New directions in adaptive control theory and applications

摘要

The idea of a restricted authority adaptive controller is introduced and its potential in power system applications explored. The relatively mature idea of state-space based self-tuning is then promoted as a possible method of implementing H_infinity adaptive controllers and a marine application is discussed. Finally the GPC and H_infinity techniques are combined in a H_infinity GPC algorithm which has some of the advantages of each.
