With the development of automobile industry and metallurgical industry, the research & development (R&D) of new materials for automobile applications and their manufacturing process attracts more and more attention. Since 1980's, IF steel has become the hot-point in the field of sheet steel for deep drawing applications because of its superior drawability. In order to improve r-value of IF steel further, the authors invented a new process, which is named as W-W method. This method can obviously improve r-value of IF steel, compared with the conventional process, through this method, r-value improved by 0.6.
