Non-Linear Interaction Between ELF ELectrostatic Turbulence and Irregularities in Electronic Density

Simultaneous observations, on the AUREOL 3 low altitude satellite, of medium scale (from a few kilometers to tens kilometers) electron density irregularities and strong ELF electrostatic turbulence (Cerisier et al. Radio Science, 20, 755-761, 1985) are revisited, Second and third order statistics analyses are applied: first, on time series associated with each type of measurement, then, on the two types. An estimation of the mutual Information is also performed. All results are presented for one typical case. New constraints to introduce in instabilitymodels are pointed out.
