What The New ISO/IEC Guide 25 Changed

This paper will discuss the changes that have been made to ISO/IEC Guide 25 "General Requirements for Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories". How it will affect your laboratory, and the way you will do business in the future. Will Guide 25 become an ISO standard? What impact will the changes in equipment control have? The intent of the Working Group 10 was to make the document more user friendly and more in line with ISO 9000. How successful have they been? Is the accreditation community ready to implement the changes that are required by the new Guide 25? Will this increase the cost of accreditation? As a member of the Working Group 10 that is revising Guide 25, I will answer these and other questions in this paper.
