On some crystallization processes, a crystal is produced by solidification of the melt. High solidification rate is favorable to improve the industrial productivity. However, it is a fear that an excess solidification rate may cause the inferior properties of solid (grinding, crushing, adhering together, etc.). In this study, the effect of melt temperature on the change of X-ray diffraction intensity of the paraffin pastille was investigated with the intension that a suitable solidification condition should be set up in taking these properties into consideration.
