摘要

An air cooling system with a variable-area inlet and controllers used to regulate the temperature of an electrical component is described. A thermal energy model based on a variable convection heat transfer coefficient or Nusselt number isdeveloped. Dynamic response simulations of the cooling system using various closed-loop control models are given. Experimental results are presented and comparisons with the simulations are made.
