摘要

Two constitutive models, respectively plastic and viscous, both used for the numerical simulation of hot isostatic pressing, are compared in terms of mathematical formulation and experimental identification. It is concluded that viscous equations are more adapted to describe the behaviour of metal powders during the whole HIP cycle, provided that these equations are fitted from the appropriate experiments.
