In this work, the tensile behavior of sintered Ti and Ti-6Al-4V alloy prerared by the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) process have been investigated. Sintered Ti was made from gas-atomized and hydrided-dehydrided (HDH) powders. Sintered Ti-6Al-4V alloy was made from blending of gas-atomized, HDH and Al-V powders and from a pre-alloyed powder. The results obtained were summarized as follows: (1) Sintered Ti has better tensile strength (640MPa) and elongation (21%) in equal amount of HDH and gas-atomized powders, well compared to JIS 3 grade of wrought Ti. (2) Sintered Ti-6Al-4V alloys by both Blended Elemental Method and Pre-alloyed Method have good tensile strength (970MPa) and elongation (12%). These values are comparable to wrought Ti-6Al-4V alloy.
