摘要

On the basis of full studies of the research results and methods at home and abroad, we will put forward a more advanced small disturbance and power shifting stability program calculating method on the definition of static state stability (SSS), and a new kind of method based on increasing DC transient overload capability and meanwhile properly decreasing overload time. These propositions have been adopted by the Tian-Guang HVDC Engineering, the calculation results show that the SSS limit and power transmission capability will be increased obviously without further investment on the engineering.
