摘要

NP2-3D, a CFD code based on an (N+2)-field model, was applied to various flow problems to examine its potential. As a result of examinations, we could confirm that the function of multigroup classification of a dispersed phase is effective in the prediction of heterogeneous dispersed flows, the interface tracking function is of use to investigate a free-surface problem and fundamental multiphase flow problems such as dynamics of small number of bubbles, the hybrid combination of an interface tracking method and a multi-fluid model enables us to examine complex multiphase flow problems such as interaction among bubbles and the role of volume transfer between a continuous and dispersed phases, and it can give good predictions for practical multiphase problems.
