The exhaust system of reciprocating engines (heat engines,compresors,...) is characteized by periodic flow which are cause of monopolar acoustic radiation at the open end.Considerable noise is porduced by these devices.use of passive mufflers is a classical mean to reduce it.Generally these mufflers ar inefficient at low frequency.Active noise-contorl systmes are a way to overocme htis drawback [1].
