The propagation of vibraiton in fluid-filled pipes is an importnat problem in many inductrial and defence aplciatiosn ,aprticularly in submarines where acoustic stealth is vital for oeprational efiicency.Pipign systems cna be excited by a lage number of sources such as pumps and ocmpressors,and vibration cna propagate along the pipes to excite other strucutrtes or equipment.
