摘要

Active nosie ocntorl consists in minimizing an undesirable nosie by generating an opposite noise by means of secondary sources.THe effectiveness of an activ econtorl ysstme is improved by an opitmized locaiton fo souces and error microphones.THis optimizaiton problem is not ocnvex and truns out to be difficlt when the number of sources asnd microphones beocmes large.Simulaitoneous optimization of source sstrengths and lcoations [1] using geratlized gradient-methods is ossible.Partial optimizzkaiton is also propsoed [2].The optimizal suce strengths.for each given set of locations is first computed annd the locations are then optmizaed by gradient mehtods.These mehtods however ocnverge to a local rather than global minimum.
