SEMANTIC METRIC COMPUTATION IN THE SD-FORM SEMANTICS MODEL FOB NATURAL LANGUAGE UNDERSTANDING

The SD-Form Semantics Model has a formal language to describe the meaning of natural language. It is called the SD-Form. The model gives us a framework to compute semantic difference measure between two meanings in terms of SD-Form. At the moment we have to make the meaning data by our own hands. It is the final goal of the model to develop a system which can translate natural language to/from the SD-Form without any human interaction. In the present paper points of difficulties in computing elaboration scores and the nearest common ancestors are discussed, and the details of the computation algorithm is presented.
