1. The carried out analysis of aggregates traffic on the field proved that from 30 to 50% of field surface is compacted during presowing operations. 2. Over 80% of the compacted field surface is covered by traces resulted from single and double runs causing the highest increase in soil compaction in the arable layer. 3. The most favourable distribution of field surface compaction was found for the 11th set with aggregates characteristic for a tramlining system technology. 4. The highest values of total specific pressures exceeded 400 kPa, i.e. above the limiting values, in all aggregate 'sets considered.
