Teaching machine vision to engineers

摘要

This paper is based on ten years' experience of teaching Applied Machine Vision in Graduate Diploma and M.Sc. courses in Information Technology and Mechatronics. The content and methodology of a modular course are described in relation to constraints on time and other resources. Operation of a system based on the Acorn BBC computer is outlined.
