Cold pour resins in MV cable joints

摘要

Joint designs are categorised according to the electrical duty that the resin performs. Problems to be avoided with modern jointing resins are considered, and the advantages of resin encapsulation are enumerated, with line drawings of typical resin-insulated, non-resin-insulated and composite joints.
