Probing into the application of micro-computer in analysing machine tool noise

摘要

As the main equipment for machine building, machine tools are developing in the direction of high speed and heavy load. Thus, the machine tool noise has been doing more and more harm in recent years. Consequently, to eliminate the noise has become a vital issue in machine tool design and manufacturing, which draws more and more attention. To reduce noise, It is necessary first of all to locate the origin of noise. Though the sound intensity measuring technique developed in the past few years has fairly good effect on discerning the noise origin, the analysing system specifically used for sound intensity measuring is expensive and hard to be widely used. Now, the author uses a cheap micro-computer to process the real measured data of lathe noise, and inquires into the method of identifying the noise origin with the digital signal processing technique. This paper, dedicated to testing and analyzing the noise of CY6140 type lathe, deals with how to use the autocorrelation function, cross correlation function, auto power spectral function and signature analysis when we research into mechanical noise. It can furnish us with a dependable basis for reducing noise.
