On basis of the scenario that vehicle mobile terminals upload data to the cloud for storage in mobile cloud environments, this paper proposed a new data transmission scheme to adapt the terminal power consumption. The new transmission scheme combined direct transmission and relay transmission with terminal adaptive power consumption; we built the optimization model for both single-user and multi-user situations and used the Lagrangian multiplier method to solve it. Simulation results show that for both single-user and multi-user scenarios, when the delay limitation is small, the power consumption of direct data transmission is smaller, but when the delay limitation increases, the power consumption of relay data transmission is lower. Furthermore, compared with the existing results, the system throughput has been improved significantly under the condition of almost equal level power consumption.
