Self-consistent one-loop transport equations for QCD

In this contribution I report some recent considerations of why and how to derive self-consistent gauge covariant trnasport equations for QCD, presently at the one-loop level. It will be based on previous attempts to formulate transport equations for non-Abelian gauge theories, which were recently reviewed in ref.(1), where also references to earlier quark-gluon plasma related work can be found. The new resutls concern the gluon quantum sector in particular, which had not been treated thoroughly before (2).
