For the market penetration of electrically operated machines, optimum utilisation of the installation space for the energy storage system is of utmost importance; both gravimetric and volumetric energy density must be maximised in order to achieve long operating times and a large utilizable volume. It is therefore optimal to be able to adapt the energy storage system with energy-optimised cells precisely to the available installation space. This flexibility can be offered by the patented technology of INVENOX GmbH, in which cylindrical cells are combined to individually shaped, high-quality energy storage devices via aluminium core printed circuit boards. This means that in complex or simple installation spaces approx. 17 and 25% more energy can be realized in the same installation space.
