Mobile intelligence for LEMKEN equipment: A retrofittable intelligent hardware generates additional value for various agricultural implements

Today many agricultural processes can be automated, by installing intelligent electronics in agricultural implements. However, the state-of-the-art, requires users to invest in a stand-alone system for each implement, and the associated, added value, per implement, frequently does not justify the investment in the system, from the user's perspective. As a result, a large proportion of the existing automation potential, currently remains entirely, or largely, unutilised. The system presented here, entails a multi-functional electronic control system, which can be used with a range of implements, at various operational steps. The relevant implements also include those not currently fitted with electronic controls. The system is developed by LEMKEN under the project name of MILE (Mobile Intelligence for LEMKEN Equipment).
