(1155) LEARNING HOW TO PREPARE FOR STATE EXAMS FOR ACCESS TO THE JUDICIARY AND STATE PROSECUTION CAREER ON THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE OF THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA

The European University of Valencia has, as a teaching innovation, introduced into the methodologyof the Law Degree, preparation for those students who, on finishing their studies and faced with sucha competitive market, decide to opt for taking Civil Service examinations. The aim of this is to helpstudents during their university studies to be prepared for Civil Service exams by teaching study andoral techniques.This was incorporated into the subject “Family and Inheritance Law” with 6 E.C.T.S, which was studiedin the third year of the Law Degree at the European University of Valencia during the 2014/2015 and2015/2016 academic year. A total of 25 students were introduced to several “study and oralexpression technique” seminars aimed at the students acquiring mental agility and fluency in thelearning of the syllabus.Finally a final oral knowledge test on the subject was conducted, so simulating a real Civil Serviceexercise so that the student could gain preparation and experience.
